Identifying the main idea and supporting details should always come first in your writing. Together, with your mentor, you will establish the structure, style, and tone of writing assignments.One tip to keep in mind while writing is
to include alliteration, analogies, and your senses.
E.g. "The sandy seagrass rustled in the whistling wind like pompoms at a fall football game."
The idea of a standardize test may be daunting, but if you establish an effective study method, you'll have way more confidence in yourself. Just remember that in a multiple choice exam, 1 answer can always be eliminated immediately leaving you now with only 3 choices to choose from instead of 4.
